Barbara Binder, COTP, started in the publishing field in 1986 with PageMaker's first release for Windows. She has been delivering corporate training as a free-lance instructor since 1987, mostly in the Washington, D.C area. In 2005, she moved to the foothills west of Denver to escape the congestion and the craziness of life "inside the Beltway."

Lori has a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT as well as a Master’s in electrical engineering from George Mason University. She has been working in the field of software engineering for more than 20 years. During that time she worked as an embedded software engineer at Raytheon (E-Systems) and ARINC.
