Articulate Storyline 360 – Master Developer Training (Live Online)
Articulate Storyline 360 – Master Developer Training
This class delves into several advanced techniques that make it possible to build ‘connected’ experiences in Articulate Storyline, transforming how users interact with live and variable data.
The morning session will commence with an exciting project focused on integrating external data into Storyline using the JS Fetch API (following an overview of how to utilize RESTful APIs in Storyline).
Participants will learn to manipulate open-source live data to visualize it within a custom Articulate Storyline project, setting the foundation for creating responsive and engaging user experiences.
The afternoon session will allow participants to implement new ideas into their practical applications, by linking Storyline content with different data stores including browser-based sessionStorage and also Google Sheets, providing a hands-on opportunity to build a quiz-based activity that reflects real-time user data and previous attempt statistics.
Participants will get the opportunity to enhance their interactive projects further by exploring advanced animation techniques using GSAP, adding a layer of visual flair and sophistication to their user experiences. The workshop will balance demonstration and active participation, uncovering a deeper understanding of Storyline 360’s capabilities and how to employ them creatively.
Learning Objectives:
- Exploring the wider capabilities of the ‘Execute JavaScript’ functionality of Articulate Storyline 360 to utilize external data sources using the JS Fetch API and RESTful APIs
- Manipulating data within Storyline as project variables to visualize live data within a graphical user experience
- Building a dynamic quiz that both transmits and loads real-time data
- Discover advanced animation techniques to enhance projects further by implementing GSAP for enhanced visual effects
Note: This class is for those who are already very familiar with Storyline including a solid understanding of triggers, conditions, and variables.
Where is this class held?
A field expert leads this live, online class. Just like an in-person class, it is fully interactive and engaging. What is the difference between an online and a virtual class? No travel! If you have an Internet connection, you can attend our virtual sessions from anywhere in the world. Many of our students stay home on the training days--some never even change out of their slippers! Using your computer audio, you can speak with and hear from the instructor and other participants throughout the course in real-time.
