IconLogic Certified Adobe Captivate Developer Exam
The ideal path to certification starts with Adobe Captivate training through IconLogic. Get certified by the people who have been writing books about and teaching Captivate since before Captivate was Captivate (we’re talking RoboDemo, here). After completing the 2-day Captivate class, you will be well-positioned to take and pass the certification exam. If you feel like you already have extensive experience with Adobe Captivate, you may choose to bypass the class and head straight to the certification exam.
The exam covers all aspects of the new Adobe Captivate, which was introduced in mid-2023 (current version in the exam is 12.3). The exam includes the interface, working with themes, adding text, interactive objects, quizzing, LMS reporting, variables, accessibility, recording the screen, and advanced actions. (If you are still using Adobe Captivate Classic, also known as Adobe Captivate 2019, consider taking the Captivate Classic certification exam).
Earning the status of an IconLogic Certified Adobe Captivate Developer (ICACD) isn’t a cakewalk, even if you’ve been developing in Captivate for a while. The exam, comprising of 60 random multiple-choice and true/false questions (pulled from a large pool of questions), is quite challenging.
Prior to taking the exam, you are encouraged to attend our Live, Online Captivate Training or work through both of our popular self-paced Captivate workbook. However, getting trained or reading books is not a pre-requisite for taking the exam. If you feel like you’re ready for the exam, on you go.
Note: You get one free exam retake.
